NEED HELP for E-Party (Apr 23)**UPDATED**

Okay, my E-Party is a week from this Saturday (Apr 23). I am making my own centerpieces and I have all the parts, except the flowers. I want to do roses, but not sure where to get them w/o spending an arm and a leg. I know there are two grocery stores near where I work (in Plainview) that have roses for ~$7 per dozen. The thing is I now have found that I will not have the time to go to Plainview to get the flowers.

Any ideas? I have seen/heard of people ordering roses from a mail order place, which is an option, but not sure if I have enough time. I am afraid I will have to go to a florist, which will cost more. I want to get the flowers Saturday, preferably after work or after the hair salon.

Just to give some points of reference…
I work that day until about 1:30pm in Oceanside
Then to home in Ozone Park
And then to the Hair Salon in Forest Hills
Then back home and then later…
On to the party in Rockaway Park.

My mom ordered some flowers there that we are using on Fri for the RD.

I'm not sure if you have enough time, but I made my own cp for my RD and ordered them from 2G Roses They were gorgeous - so fresh and beautiful and lasted for 2 weeks!

These are great ideas, I am just afraid of being STUCK in there. I have a membership to Costco and EVERYTIME I go to the one near me, I spend more time on line than getting the stuff I want. Seeing as I would be there on a Friday afternoon/evening or Saturday afternoon.

In a different post, some brides had mentioned wholesale flower purchases and Farm Direct was mentioned for online ordering (cheap and fast!). They said the flowers they received were beautiful.

I've also heard about Fresh Roses, but haven't used them. They have volume pricing for wedding packages and grow the flowers themselves.

And lastly there's Big Rose, which I like since they have video links on how to create some floral arrangements (centerpieces, bouquets, etc) on their site for free. And they, too, offer flowers at wholesale prices...

DUH!!! I will do that!! My MOH will be in town from VA!!

I ordered 200 roses from FarmDirect thanks to Kase21's link!!

I am getting 200 vandella (sp?) roses for $149 (incl delivery) to be delivered by noon on Friday, the day before the party!!!!
