And also... I highly recommend AGAINST threatening divorce. If you catch him in a bad mood & pull that sh!t, he might take you up on the offer.

Don't threaten. He's your partner for life, not your enemy.

OMG sweetie ~ I am sooo sorry you are going through this and feeling like this... I totally beleive the other LIW ladies... Marriage is am amazing thing but it is definately work ~ compromising.
since you have sit down and talk with him (talk dont yell or anything) talk and tell him how you are feeling... Was he like this before you got married?
It seems like he has something going on or is upset about something ~ maybe seeks a counselor if possible sometimes a third party can helps and listen to both sides...

I would try talking to him again maybe ask him to come home from work early and you can make a nice dinner and talk...

I wish you luck & I will say lots of prayers for you....

What has changed since you got married? You've been living together for a while...so you know that you actually work together (enough for the 2 of you to get married)...so the sex was good and he gave you more attention.

Has he lost a job? Changed jobs? Had a serious problem at work? Split with a family member?

He sounds depressed or very stressed. Maybe it's something he feels uncomfortable talking to you about. You are reacting in an appropriate way. I had a short period of this & we had a talk & fixed the problem (which was quite different than what I thought it was). In the talking: focus on HIM: say something is different about him (NOT I feel unappreciated & unloved). It may work.

Good luck.

My heart breaks for you because I've been in relationships that turned into that situation and it seems like no matter what you try to do to fix it...he just doesnt respond the way you hope he would.

Have you told him your concerns about the way things have changed?

He may be overwhelmed by work or finances or just the fact that your MARRIED now. Im sure guys go through the same worries and freak out that we do before marriage..maybe he's just dealing with it late?

You have to get inside his head and see what he's feeling right now though because this wont go away by itself.

One of the girls said Marriage is Work..and it is! Your first years together may be a little rocky but thats all part of it. Life is full of highs and lows...Im just so sorry that your newleywed phase has to be a 'low' right now.
I hope that your able to gets things back to where they should be.

we're all sending you good thoughts...

I am so sorry to hear this! No relationship is perfect BUT he should not be negelcting you at all! People have bad days but since this has been going on for a few months it needs to be taken care of ASAP! I agree with Caroline no threatening but you need to get to the bottom of this. What does he say when you ask why he is acting this way ?
I am so sorry your so sad

I am so sorry to hear this!!! No newleywed wants to feel like her husband is not there for her emotionally or physically! My heart goes out to you and I truly hope that you are able to make him see that he is really hurting you and your relationship in general... and that you are able to find a way to get back to the relationship you had or want.

It seems to me that counseling would be a good way to help in your communication. Whether you find a counselor or priest or someone else, I think this would definitely help.

I agree completely........ This should be your time of excitement......not sadness I am soooo sorry you are dealing with this. It definitely sounds like something is bothering him or something is distancing him from you......but what? Counseling may be able to open that door for you so you can see what it is..........

I hope it all gets better and you get to enjoy your newleywed time as you should ........

I'm so very sorry.

Your relationship was NEVER like this before you got married? The day you got back from your HM, all of a sudden, he just stopped caring?? There wasn't even hints of it before the wedding?? Just seems so strange to be coming out of nowhere.

Well, either way, I would suggest counseling. That's the only thing I can think of that might help him realize that marriage requires effort and work- and that you are human and need emotion and love.
