We met with our DJ last night and were told that the song we want everyone (ourselves included) to walk in to would not be long enough b/c of the words that I want cut out. I need a second song for the BP to walk in to. Suggestions please??

We are walking in to I'm shipping up to Boston by the Dropkick Murphy's - it's got an irish tune to it, but the words are horrible and I want them cut out - which is why it is too short for the enitre bridal party. FH is a huge Jets fan and it is the song that they play b4 kickoff.

We are both very eclectic in our music, so the style isn't an issue. I want something lively to get everyone pumped up! I've made a few suggestions that he hasn't like, i.e. Get this Party Started, Walking on Sunshine etc. He didn't like them.

Yah I agree -- 'I'm a sailor peg and I've lost my leg' isn't very wedding ishbut it IS a great get-up-off-your-seat song!

What about that Irish Rock song.. I have to ask FH the name but I think the band is Murphys or something.. it was in the movie Departed. Let me find out for you... I think it will match the other song
