so my rh has partnered up w/a tv/video co and they have installed huge tvs and a projection screen at the hall ... amazing quality, etc
any future bride MUST use the rhs tvs if they want to show a photo montage... any brides that have booked a montage w/a dj would need to subcontract through their dj..
we met w/our dj co last night and they said they would work w/the video co for the photo monthage but they will not lower their price.... and that stupid co charges $995 for a 5 minute flipping photo montage
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
at this point i dont even want a stupid montage
and the video co (the rhs' video co) called me to tell me that my dj co uses a tacky flat screen thing and that it looks sloppy and messy
what do i do
do i get rid of the photo montage all together? do i book w/the rh's video co for flippin 995?#?#? or do i leave the contract as it is and use the photo montage on the crappy projection screen that the dj uses...

I would just use the DJ's screen if it was me. $995 is absurd for 5 mins!

Definitely don't pay the extra $1000 ...
the RH's tv people are full of poop if they tell you that your montage will look bad on the DJ's TVs. a flat screen is a flat screen and it will still look great.
i booked my DJ's flat screens for teh sole purpose of having a montage but ended up deciding last night that i don't want one after all ... i'd rather have an extra 10 minutes of dancing

thx for the advice ladies....for a minute i almost agreed to 1K!!!
anyway i called my dj and told him what the other co was saying abt them.....bc honestly it was very uncool.....
anyway we're keeping our package as it is....i hope our photo montage doesnt look like crappy
