Need Help! Vendor Rant * Update******

So I ordered my dress in November and I thought everything was ok...I just recently went with one of my bridesmaids to order her dress and they told her she needed extra length, I thought to myself she is about 4 inches shorter then me and they didnt order me extra length, so I asked them if that designer made her gowns longer and thats why I didnt get measured for extra length. They told me no the standard is 5'8,5'9 in length, well I am 5'10 1/2 and I planned on wearing AT LEAST a one inch heel...meaning the dress will be to short, they told me there is nothing they can do, the dress was already ordered and I signed the paper, she proceeds to tell me I said I wasnt wearing heels, which I never said and then when my mother calls to speak to them they tell her I said that I didnt order extra length bc I couldnt afford it, thats A liar and a totally different story then what they told me. They said when the dress comes in if it is to short I will have to buy flats, because there is nothing they can do....help what shuld I do????? Please helpme!!!!!!!

Update*** So I went to the bridal place today and after a little arguing they became very nice to me and apologized and are ordering a the right length and size for me....so it all worked out in the end, wish It did not have to happen but it is all ok now. Thanks for the advice

these bridal shops are so friggin shady! That is terrible that they made the mistake and then lied about it. When is your dress due to come in?

First she told me two months before the date which would be may, because the put a month earlier on the sheet, and then she told me it might be this month, so who knows!!!!

you need to call the designer immediately and see if the dress has been commissioned and/or sent. You are going to have to handle it, call the designer yourself ASAP

I agree! that's ridiculous btw!!!

My dress needed a measured length because of the bottom they can't really hem it. I didn't know I needed to have my shoes (I wanted to pick out my dress first) so I ended up having to wait to order it until I had shoes.

They should have known to measure you with heels!!!

omg I'm soooo sorry this must be so upsetting for you!! I had the WORST Experience w/David's Bridal ~ reminds me of that!!!! If it is them, make sure you don't let it go. Call every day, talk to every manager and then call their Corporate Office!!!!
