need help w/ tuxes

help! pretty much the only thing left to do besides little things are tuxes.

Unfortunately, i'm on my own on this since FH is away with the Army, and he wont be on LI till the wedding. SO, i know nothing about tuxes...is there anything i should know? should i take all the guys in the bridal party with me, or just my brother who's in the wedding party? any recommendations on where to go in Nassau, south shore?

Thanks!!! any help is greatly appreciated

Re: need help w/ tuxes

we are using Feldman Esquire on Merric on Merrick Rd. Michael is very nice and helpful and he matched the price we received from other stores. Gino's in Farmingdale also got good reviews on this site.
As to going to look at tuxes, I would think you should go only with your brother who would look at them for your FH since he isn't available. If you take all the guys you will get so many opinions you won't know what to do.
Go to a couple stores, look at the different styles, colors available for vests, get prices. Maybe you could take pics and send to FH to see what he might prefer?
You might also want to consider the builds of all the groomsman before you decide. The 2 button styles usually work for most body types. Ask the guy in the store for his suggestion on styles.
Also they have the standard tuxes which usually are the ones they offer with the coupons but you can get others with finer wool - - super 100, super120 whcih are supposedly lighter weight and made by various designers such as Ralph Laure and Joseph Abboud.
My FH has broad shoulders and a stomach so the Jos Abboud while a bit fitted gave him more room than Ralph Lauren style.
