Need Help- Which way should I wear my dress? UPDATED WITH PICS

WARING**** no make-up applied! I hope my face doesn't burn anyone's eyes out- just keep your eyes on the dress and not the dead animal on my head! *****

That said, please tell me which way my dress looks the best on me. The way the dress came, the band is supposed to be worn 'thick' but I feel it is not very flattering on my figure and adds a couple of pounds- but I am not sure. In the first pic I folded down the band (which I will sew down if I decide to keep it that way) and the next two pics show the band in its 'natural state'.

Looking forward to your opinions! (Except on the hair!) ha.

The thick band is the way to go. Beautiful dress by the way.

i think the thin makes less
attention to the waist & more
on the dress

I actually think the thick band is more slimming- not that YOU have to even worry about that! You look incredible.

I guess I am in the minority - but I really like the thin band beter - gives it a nice touch but does not draw attention away from the dress.

Actually I think the wide band is MORE flattering than the thin one! P.S. You look beautiful!

I think I'm the odd man out but I like it with the thin band, it will still look dramatic in the back, JMO I think it's too much in the front.

I'm surprised by all the thick band responses. I definitely prefer the thin band.

I just saw the mittermax demo, and the chick in their has a similar dress with the band thin, and it looks really good! Now, I am confused! Maybe it won't get resolved until the day of! ha.

agreed-- and the dress also has more presence with the thicker band- it's more dramatic.

i like the thinner band because i personally usually don't love too much color other than white on the dress...that's just my personal preference though. Also, the thinner waist band is lower and shows how narrow your waist is. Honestly, either way it looks wonderful so you really can't go wrong!!!
