This is only my opinion...my Fh like I said only keeps in touch b/c of his daughter... Now when I say in touch, I mean conversation is strictly his daughter's health, schooling, and any other important things for her well-being.. If they were conversing because of a relationship itself, I would not be ok with it. I had some great relationships in the past that broke up ok, and I don't talk to any of them.. There is a respect factor, and I believe that the past is the past, and you leave it behind unless something like a child came out of it. I would really talk to him because it is something that may come up again down the road.

girl i dont think you have anything to worry about.. however i think you should have gotten this all out on the table before.. i am sure that there were other issues between them then just the religion and if not then i dont know how comfortable i would be if they are just friends.. did you ever meet her? i am friends with all of my FH friends.. and vice versa... if they are such good friends then why have you never met her or gone to dinner.. what does she do for him(friend wise) that he keeps her around?

I have to tell you, i think this sitation is strange. Why would you want to know now? What difference does it make what his past is if it didn't matter before now? I suppose that my point is, if he feels that she is a different person now, and he has been with you and asked you to marry him, and loves you, then what do you care if he speaks with a person who is different from the person he was at one point involved with?
I am friends with some of my ex's, I think it is healthy to keep in touch with people who are important to you. Sometimes ppl you date are not right for you romantically but are the perfect friend. Dont become jelous of someone he does not want a romantic relationship with.
He love you. Don't forget that!
