here is the thing - did you know that he still sees her sometimes before you had this conversation or this was the first he was telling you that he talks to her sometimes?

I think you need to talk to him and let him know how you are feeling. Its natural to be jealous but I also don't think you don't have anything to worry about. Leave his past in the past and be happy that he wants to spend the rest of his life with you.

Of course he doesn't want to upset you...why would he for any reason...Yes you are the one with the ering - I guess I am dancing around what I really want to say - OK here goes...

If it were me - I wouldn't tolorate it or accept it. IF he broke up with her for 'religious reasons and religious reasons ONLY' IMO, there are still many other feelings still there. Sorry - I don't mean to sound rude or harsh - remember this is only my opinion!!! But you asked for it, I just hate posting these kinds of things when they aren't all and , ya know?

No offense but why ask him that now , wouldn't youwant to get that out of the way in the beginning of the relationship or before you agreed to marry him. I don't honestly think he would tell you everything not now that you are engaged.

I agree w/ you...My FH has a beautiful daughter with his ex, and that is the only reason they talk...

You know what- me and FH are not the same religion either. We are still getting married. If they TRULY wanted it to work out, they wouldve made it work out. WE did. There had to be some other reasons they didnt pull through.. broke up a 5 year relationship & possible marriage bc of religions? I wouldve NEVER even THOUGHT about breaking up with FH after 5 years bc of his religion...
