Need help with Favor Ideas

I am starting to think about favors. I have no clue what I want to do. I don't mind DIY or getting something already done. I was thinking maybe something edible/drinkable but not sure what. I don't want something that is going to be a waste that people always get or will just throw away. Does anyone have any ideas? I am open to anything. Thank you now for your ideas :)

Check out a fresh approach in bay shore! The most delicious truffles! And they do other edible favors. You don't need an appointment, you can just go down there, they do chocolates for small and large orders.

FH and I bought wood boxes from Woodcrafter.com and are going to stamp a Celtic knot on the top and put 5 different flavor teas that we enjoy to share with our guests.

The box can later be used for jewelry, cufflinks and tie clips/tacks, keys, coins or other small things.

We wanted something nice and functional. We have all been to weddings where there are cookies and they are gone in 2 bites or your get that favor that you wouldn't even want to donate to Goodwill it's so tacky.

FH and I know there will be some who may feel the same way about ours, but the majority should like them as we are putting our time, effort and hearts into making these for our guests.

We couldn't do chocolates much as we would have liked to as we have a few guests who are allergic and we didn't want to take the chance of making them sick from it.

I was in The Crushed Olive in Babylon Village today and they do an olive oil/balsamic vinegar duo favor. I'm def looking into it for my favors. I spoke to the owner and she said her daughter handles all the wedding inquiries because she was a bride herself two years ago and knows how stressful planning a wedding is.

I ended up doing french macaroons in custom flavors from kiss my cake. everyone loved it!

I'm doing dyi. well partly. I'm offering custom fortune cookie with custom saying or fortunes. then I'm dipping one in white chocolate with teal or crystaly sprinkles abd one in dark chocolate with white sprinkles. everyone will get one bride and one from fortune cookie in a Chinese take out box.
I found the cheapest place to order. already made favors in wrapwithus.com! it's been a while since ive been it might be wrapwithme.com
