FH and I finally agreed to do seperate bach parties with the understanding that there can be no strippers/dancers of any sort AND no dancing/flirting with anyone of the opposite sex (which basically means no clubbing).
Anyway, my girls are all just graduating college, so money is a little tight and I have no clue what I'd like to do. I really just want something low-key (and I plan on inviting my mom and FH's mom, so it really has to stay clean). Any suggestions on what we could do??

Dinner and then spa appointments. Not sure of places on the Island but I know there are spas in NYC that are open late and have 'Spa parties!' HTH!

You could also do a a winery trip/tour by limo depending on how many people you have...we did this for one of my BMs when she got married and it was a big hit

I was my cousins MOH about 2 years ago, being the oldest w/ a good paying job and her BM's were broke college girls, we went out to dinner to a place called Mangia e Bevi in NYC (bach parties go there a lot) and then went to a comedy club at the Comedy Cellar downtown in the Village. We had a blast!! Overall it was clean good fun!! It wasn't too expensive and wasn't a very late night either.] FM if you want more info!!

Oh yeah and her mom came too (my aunt) so it wasn't really in bad taste except for the comedy club, but she was able to handle that.

My LIW girls took me to dinner and then a bar where they got me completely drunk, and we talked and laughed all night!

FOr mine, we went to Mohegan Sun. We took the ferry up, got massages and did a little gambling. It was a lot of fun!

You could go to a place like Jillian's or Dave & Busters and just play games all night. Karoake bar Comedy Club Play/Musical
These are all things I would've liked to do, unfortunately my BP didn't get the hint.

I would suggest doing a winery tour...they are a lot of fun. What about a day out at Gurney's in Montauk? We also did the Awesome 80's Prom and that was so much fun. You don't have to go into Webster Hall afterwards if you don't want to. The prom itself was good clean fun. The Culture Club is too...it's all bachelorette parties in there...every time I've been there, it's at least 10 girls to every guy so your FH wouldn't have to worry about you getting hit on. There's also city scavenger hunts. There's also DJ Chef that is supposed to be fun.

I've done wine trips. They are so much fun, IF no one has to drive. either a limo or a bus could be fairly inexpensive. And many of the vineyards do free tastings= cheap day out! The only thing is that they close relatively early, so it's not an all night thing if that is what you are hoping for.

I've heard of girls having slumber parties - you maybe go out for dinner or karaoke or something, then come back and make ice cream sundaes, watch Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movies, play truth or dare, and stay up all night. Sounds like fun to me!

for my bachelorette, my friends gave me a 'personal' shower. it wasn't anything kinky, just nice lingerie, soaps, perfumes, a few gag gifts, etc. it would have felt appropriate to have family there. we then had dinner at a nice restaurant in the village. i had a really great time and it suited my low-key personality
