I know it's always asked, but please list some good songs for FH and his mom to dance to. I'm meeting with the DJ tonight. Thanks!!!!

that was a toughy for us! Because of our situation, we didn't want a song about 'raising' him. But every other sweet song was about being in love. What a pain.

Finally we settled on 'My Wish' by Rascal Flatts. It's perfect

My Mom danced with my brother to My Wish - Rascal Flatts at his wedding it is such a great song.
DH danced with his mom to Forever Young - Rod Stewart

Thanks for all the ideas. He ended up choosing 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What A Wonderful World' by Israel Kamakawiwo Ole.

UGH! I wanted that one and FMIL said no She thought it was too romantic, like for a girlfriend/boyfriend. All the songs are like that, I mean it's about love whatever!

What did you end up going with?

Dh and his mom danced to 'Memories' by Elvis. You have to google it to find it.

My DH and his mom danced to 'Memories' by Elvis Presley. It's one of her favorite songs, and it was also kind of a tribute to DH's late grandmother, because he was extremely close with her.
