Need help with helping a friend plan her wedding!
She's newly engaged and starting to think about having her wedding on LI but she's living upstate right now. She's thinking about venues with a beachy feel or close to the water, any suggestions?
Also for the girls doing the all inclusive wedding companies what are included and can you give me a ball park estimate of what she should expect to spend with using these.

Venetian yacht club is gorgeous and on the water and I've never been to bridgeview but I've heard great things. As for all-inclusive, for reference we looked at East Wind's all inclusive package and it would have cost us about $20K for 150 people. That's including venue, photo, dj, centerpieces, 1 8 passenger limo, and cake I believe. I may be missing something. Now I'm spending more than that on just my venue. SMH it makes me sick even thinking about it, but FH didn't like the idea of getting married in the room where we had our prom.

I'm not sure what price range she's going for but here's a few different venues (varying price ranges):- the Mansion at West Sayville (Lessings; she can get married on the dock)
- Crescent Beach Club
- Pavilion at Sunken Meadow (Lessings)
- Land's End
- Danford's
- Venetian Yacht Club

I'm using complete wedding packages in East Meadow for pretty much everything! They're fantastic! I know they raised their prices but she can go on their website and look at their packages or build her own.

I fell in love with Bridgeview Yacht Club right away. It's so beautiful, inside and out. And from what I understand, the prices are really, really good!

I am getting married on the dock at West Sayville Country Club. She should also check out the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow and Land's End. I didn't really like the set up at Sunken Meadow, but the view is amazing and you can have true beach wedding.Or maybe even a Fire Island wedding? I am going to a wedding next weekend in Ocean Beach. They have a small white chapel there and a number of restaurants that host parties.

Re: Need help with helping a friend plan her wedding!
I did one of the all-inclusive packages. I liked it because I didn't have to go crazy trying to find all the vendors, I did however look up multiple reviews for each prior to booking. We get 2 limos either to the church then 1 to the RH or 2 to the RH, 4 hour dj, 8 hours of photo, cake, 10 centerpieces, my bouquet, toss bouquet, MOH bouquet, FH boutonniere, best man boutonniere.Welcome New Vendors
