Try the Sandals Resorts in the Caribbean. Great for honeymoons!

How long are you willing to fly? We are going to Mexico since I have never been on a plane. It is just shy of 3 hours going and just shy of 5 hours returning. We are staying at the El Dorado Royale Spa Resort in Riviera Maya (Punta Brava to be exact, which is about 45 minutes south of Cancun.)http://karismahotels.com/doradoroyal/index.html

You should look into Couples Resorts in Jamaica. Check out their ratings on tripadvisor.com. The 2 in Negril have outstanding reviews!

We're going to Cabos San Lucas in Mexico - all inclusive at Dreams Resort. Its 5 or less hours to get there.
I'd stay away from the Bahamas or Caribbean because of the hurricane season..

Re: Need help with honeymoon destination

We had the same requirements and had considered Cabo San Lucas (no because of long flight and plane change), Hawaii (no because of same), Italy (no because we wanted beach and all-inclusive) and just about every island in the Caribbean. We narrowed it down to our preferences and what we wanted (luxurious, 5* or better, All-Inclusive, Adults Only, small (200 rooms or less), beach and somewhere we had never been before...only one place met our needs and wants -Royal Hideaway! my review is on the Bride's Review board...that place was seriously amazing...everything a HM should be. I did so much research, feel free to FM me if you have specific questions.

Before you decide on any place, I found TripAdvisor really helpful. Their reviews were detailed and informative.

Good luck!
