OK, ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE ENVELOPE FOR INSTANCE I PUT:

MR. & MRS. ROBERT SMITH
ADDRESS
CITY, STATE & ZIP.

ON THE INSIDE ENVELOPE, I THEN JUST PUT:

MR. & MRS. SMITH


IS THIS CORRECT, OR SHOULD i JUST PUT THE FIRST NAME SOF THE PEOPLE ON THE INSIDE ENVELOPE?

Question? What goes in the inside envelope? I am new to all this as well!

You did it perfect. The inner envelope just states the actual first names of who you are inviting. for example.
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe (outer)
John and Mary (inner)
