Estelles in Farmingdale
(border of Suff/Nass on Rt110) has a lot of gowns that you will see in these bridal shops but you buy them off the rack!

R these stores like ones that carry different sizes or do you buy the samples. She wants places that the dress are like her size bc she hates having to do major alternations

Yup, you can definitely buy off the rack at Estelle's. And no, you don't need an appointment. I've bought so many dresses from them, I can't even count. And their prices are amazing.

Did she look at Macy's at Roosevelt Field because they had TONS and they were beautiful! My MOG just bought something for $69. Also, Estelle's is doing a huge blowout right now and they have some gorgeous pieces for about $39 I keep trying to get my mother to go with me.

Estelles in Farmingdale, or IDK if you went there, but I've heard there's a new store in the basement of Roosevelt Field mall that has really nice dresses in all sizes.

She should take a trip into Manhattan and go to Lord n Taylor and/or Saks, their selection of dresses is insane! SOO much better than out by us. I was just over there the other day at lunch!! She will definitely find something!

Re: Need help with mog dress
For stores in Brooklyn she should try Doris Fashions on 18th Ave & 68 Street, Valentina's on New Utrecht Ave & 77th Street.
If you go to Doris be sure to ask for Maria to be your sales girl and Josephine to do the alterations.
