Need help with MOH Gift...

am looking for ideas/suggestions for a gift for my sister who is my MOH. She is the only person in my bridal party (I didn't want a lot of people so I only chose my sister).

Let me give you a little bit of background....my sister and I have been through a lot with our family for the past 10 years. We lost our mom 2 years ago and have been trying to move forward with our lives ever since. It has been a struggle but we are doing it...good and bad days aside. My sister planned my entire bridal shower and did an amazing job. Besides that she is the most important person in my life besides FH and my dad. I want to get her something special. Something that says thank you for all of your help and thank you for being the amazing person you are. I am trying to stay away from jewelry because she really doesn't wear any in her everyday life and on special occasions she wears our mom's stuff and a beautiful necklace that my dad and I gave her for graduation with her master's degree.

So any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I'm sorry that is all I can think of, besides buying her a designer bag.

Thank you and that is a great suggestion but she doesn't like the spa day thing.

hmm. maybe something sentimental.

This isn't for a gift it's just an idea of something nice to do. Get her bo-k picture frame charm with ur mom's pic in it. You can get urself one too and it'll be something that you both have.

Love the way your mind works and I am already doing that. I am purchasing a charm from Etsy.

Since she's not the spa type gal, what about a little vacation for just the two of you to enjoy each other's company ?
Maybe a couple of days at a beach resort or on Block Island or Cape Cod if you don't want to go too far.

If you want to buy her something material, find out who her favorite designer is and buy her a pocketbook or sunglasses or something nice from that designer...
I do like the idea of a mini vacation together...

How about putting together a scrapbook of your lives together? With pics ranging all the way back to when you were kids and leave some spots blank for pics from your wedding?

Thank you for the suggestion but she and I are alike in that we are not into designer things. (I know, girls who don't like deisgner things...lol)

The sunglasses are a good idea but that is something she would have to pick out. It's hard to pick out sunglasses for someone.

I have a sister who is very difficult to purchase for as well..not into the spa or designer stuff

I am paying for her hair and make up day of because I knew she wouldn't want to spend the money. But I also want her to have a keepsake. How about a beautiful picture frame and take a great pic of you and her or you, her and your dad to fill t he frame on the day of the wedding. It's not often we get to take amazing professional pics when we are all done up.
