Need help with Reception Halls

I am looking for a reception spot in Nassau or western Suffolk. We have a huge family so it would need to hold about 275-300. Any help would be wonderful

Welcome to the boards. Congrats on your engagement. You could check East Wind, Miller Place Inn and Villa Lombardi's.

Yay another December 07 bride! Sooo happy to have someone along with me Chateau La Mer is very nice, my sister got married there last July. I know someone mentioned East Wind, which I of course LOVE, but it's in Wading River, not sure if you want to travel that far if you're looking for Nassau/western Suffolk. Good Luck!

Congratulations!

I was in the same boat as you, we needed a larger venue and decided on a hotel.

The following places I've looked at or been to weddings recently at that hold 300-350 people:

North Ritz Club
Crest Hollow Country Club
Woodlands
Carlyle on the Green
Watermill
Hamlet (Commack)
Flowerfield

Re: Need help with Reception Halls

Watermill has a larger reception room. (yes i'm biased, but it truly is a nice place)

i don't agree with miller place inn (somebody mentioned them) they are a SMALL venue. anything over like 200 people gets cramped in there.
