Need help with resizing over 1,000 pic files at once!!!

So, we got our proofs and they also gave us a disc. I'd like to share some online but we have almost 1,500 pics and they are all over 1MB and 2040 x 3072.

I normally resize pics using irfanview but one at a time. Anyone know how I can resize an entire pic folder fast and easy?

Thanks!

yeah, if you got photoshop or imageready i know you can perform a macro to resize everything at a certain quality.

Imageready allows you to do this in one drag and drop motion. ;)

If you know someone who does graphics work you can ask them to help you.

I can probably help as I do web design and know those programs pretty well but it's a matter of trust. ;)

Well that's the thing... I use Snapfish and not that I would put every proof in an online album... even a decent collection would take forever to upload. Plus I just would like to have a smaller set so I can browse through them quicker... this size, they take long even to scan through on my computer.

DH has photoshop on his computer... are you familiar with the procedure using PS? Never heard of imageready.

DH has a lot of techie friends but I'm sure I'll get answers from my girls faster than he can from his buds!
