need help with RSVP's !!!

ahhh!! okay so I'm starting my printing this weekend (im making my own invites) and Im having issues on wording especially with the RSVPS. reasons? I have a bunch of people im pretty sure that unless they are told, will bring more people with them. I also have a million cousins that all got maried at the same time and now have kids all around the same age...lol

I love kids but I don't really want to break the bank by having everyone bring their children. I hope I dont sound awful. My dad said I should write the names of the people I'm inviting plus the AMount of people and then yes or no. I don' know if that seems too tacky! ugh! what do i do? lol

Mr & Mrs. Robinson

yes _ No _ (or something along those lines) I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!LOL

i recently saw an RSVP that said this and im stealing the idea:


Please reserve
__ of 2 seats

that way the person can fill in the number of people who are coming and feel like an @ss if they write more than the total number

Here's what we did:


The favour of a reply is requested
on or before September 14, 2011

We have reserved ___ seat(s) in your honor

M ____________________________
___accepts with pleasure
___declines with regrets

Number attending ____


I will write in the number on the reserved line prior to sending them out.

This is what I did. I also did an inner envelope where I listed the names of the people invited.

Oh man those are great!!!! I wish I woulda seen this beforeeeeeeee signing my final approval form. They are alredy in the process of being printed.
