Need help with Scroll wording . . .

Okay, so after discussing the final wording with FH for our donation scrolls, he decided that he didn't want the names listed because he started to think of other family and close friends that have been affected and our scrolls would have been a mile long. Sooooooo, I have to change it and I don't know what to write. . . . .

I have written :

With much thought and consideration
We have chosen a meaningful way to say
Thank you for sharing our wedding day

We have made a special donation to the
American Cancer Society in loving memory of

I want to put 'In loving memory of our family and friends affected' but then there is my mother, who is 4 1/2 years in remission, who I want to honor as well. I don't know how to word it!

HELP ! ! ! ! !

TIA

Im not sure if I know what you mean-but if its the word memory you are having trouble with b/c some people close to you have overcome the disease-you could put in loving recognition....

just an idea

What about 'Our thoughts and prayers are with our loved ones affected' or something to that effect? Leave out 'In Loving Memory' so you can honor everyone.
