Need help with style and type of veil! Pictures helpful!

Ok so I am now trying to figure out my veil options. I don't know what to choose! What kind of veil would you guys suggest? Photos would help!

I was thinking fingertip or elbow length. originally i wanted a cathedral length but I think it will eat me alive throughout the day! I don't want to sepnd 150+ on a veil only to have to yank it off because it is obnoxious. This is my dress and the comb I am planning to wear in my hair to one side(included the pic of how I will most likely wear it)-Well similar. Mine is actually about a 1/3 smaller than this one.

i had a similar dress to you where it was all lace and the top also had lots of intricate beading. i went with a very simple silk cathedral length veil with a fingertip blusher.

i wore my band at the top of my head and because the veil was soft, sheer silk you were able to see right through it to the band and even to the dress. maybe you can get it done so that the cathedral length is detachable, as other gals have suggested.

Thanks folks. I think I am going with the mantilla. I LOVE the beaded one but there's just something about the mantilla...

They can put it on some kind of comb cant they? So I can wear it further back? I don't want it brushing my cheeks all night. Will drive me batty! thats why I cut all my hair off in the first place lol!

You could get a two- or three-tier veil where you can remove the cathedral attachment.

My plan is to get a 3-tier veil and remove the cathedral part after the church / pictures.

That is exactly what I had. I bought my fingertip length veil at Bridal Reflections then went to Barron's and had them add on a Cathedral veil. It worked out perfectly and I was able to take the Cathedral veil right off after my first dance.

Another thing...Does anyone know of a place in NYC or NJ where I could get a veil made into a detachable style? I want a mantilla and thats usually one piece so I don't know how they could make that detachable.
