Need help with Videography

Hi girls,

FH and I were not planning on getting video for our wedding, but now we are having second thoughts. My fried who recently got married in Philly told me she was not planning on getting one and then got a cheap one at the last minute and we are thinking of doing the same. I don't need anything fancy, and dont want to spend a lot b/c I don't forsee us watching it all THAT much. Anyone have any recommendations of someone who can do it on the cheap (~$1000)???

I am booking with Capture the Moment Video...they have great packages and very reasonably priced!!! I don't want to spend a fortune on video either. As i told my FH, i don't need an oscar-worthy movie, i need a memory and i think their work is great :)

I would call Gil from Fade to Black. He is great with working with budgets, and since you don't really want the 'works' I don't see it being a problem to stay in your price range!

A good way to save on videography is requesting a raw footage instead of an edited one. It's usually the editing process that takes time that's why vendors charge a lot. So if you just want to have the event capture you should try looking into that. HTH
