Need help with wording...(e-party)
Okay here's the thing..My e-party is tomorrow night and I had originally planned on having the dj introduce the bridal party, but instead, I have decided to make up some mini-programs with all their names..

Re: Need help with wording...(e-party)
I'm going to print up something like a program, but not as formal sort of introducing the bridal party on paper, as opposed to having the dj announce them.. does that make sense? lolbut I want it to look pretty..

Re: Need help with wording...(e-party)
Are these programs going to be distributed on the tables already or handed out during the party? As far as keeping it simple & fun: Buy some card stock on the cover you can import a picture of a ball & chain... and write above it your names and the date... On the inside write the Ball & Chain Gang... and that's where you could write the names of your bridal party... Something cute would be to write a funny blurb about each member... For example: John Doe--Best Man: John is a Virgo, likes to eat sushi and is addicted to women. Jane Doe--Maid of Honor: Jane is insane, she likes to complain. What a pain! (But we still love her!) On the other page I would include a reminder about when the wedding is. Like: Don't forget! The wedding is 346-days away... (January 3, 2002(whatever the date is.)

Re: Need help with wording...(e-party)
I tried to find you a ball & chain, but couldn't find one. I made a sample page for you...If interested, give me your email address and I'll send it to you right away. All you have to do is add a bow to the front and type up the names inside. As far as the program things go, I've been known to be crafty... he he!!

Re: Need help with wording...(e-party)
I hope it's not too late for this idea: His parents can be introduced like this:The Groom's Parents a.k.a. The Jailbirds: Mr. & Mrs. ABC's... we're happy our little boy is finally flying the coop!
The Bride's Parents a.k.a. The Wardens: Mr. & Mrs. ABC... We've laid down the law for 24-years (your age), now she's on her own (God help us all...)
Just trying to stick w/ the ball & chain theme...

Re: Need help with wording...(e-party)
Yikes!!! Well, that's important info you failed to tell me about- lol!!! Hmmm, let me think on this one... Would they take a joke, or not? I think if you introduce your parents as the Wardens, that'll be funny in itself and you don't even need to say anything like that for the groom's side, especially if there are some issues over there... Maybe justhave it listed simply: Groom's Parents and their names... put the mother & step-father on one line & the father on a separate line... If they do have sense of humor on the other hand, you could write Bonnie & Clyde a.k.a. the Mom & Step-Dad... and lastly, Al 'Money Bags'Capone a.k.a. Grooms Dad... This one has me spinning, I hope it helps a little...
