need help...picture opportunity

need help...picture opportunity

i am getting married end of november and would like to take outdoor pix...we will probably try the arboretum (sp)...anyone have any recommendations for an alternate plan in case of inclement weather?...reception in jericho

Are there any upscale greenhouses or museums' there? What about the gardens in Westbury (I think that's where it is- is that far?) You could always contact them- I think it's a mansion and they might have a lot of flowers around as well.

You can take pictures on theMilleridge grounds- but I guess you are looking for something more scenic.
There is a little carriage in the viilage & a man & women cut-out you can stand behind so your heads show ( i keep tell my mother that we are going to take a picture there, standing behind the wrong sides & use that as our thank you!--she thinks I'm joking. . .)

The Westbury Gardens are beautiful, I think they allow pictures there.

ETA: Are looking for an indoor place, in case you can't do outdoors?
Also, the sun sets early in November. Are you taking pictures after after the church? Do you have a big time space between the ceremony & reception?

Also, if yor photgrapher usually works in that area he/she may have some ideas.

old westbury gardens. if it rains you can take pictures inside. that's where we are taking pictures.

we have plenty of time between church and reception, specifically coz i want outdoor pix...i know the arboretum is gorgeous, but in case it rains, i need an alternate...

milleridge is only allowing us 30 min before cocktail hour to get there, i guess another bride
