Looking for an RD location near Farmingdale. Fh's parents are paying and they won't give me a price range, they just say 'cheap'! Awesome, so now I need to figure out their idea of cheap...since I think my idea and their idea are pretty different. Please help!!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing what recommendations you get because I'm still in the market for somewhere for ours! I might just go with the hotel RD because it'll be closer and easier. Still working on that.

My sister had hers at BK Sweeney's in Bethpage, and her church was in Farmingdale, so very close. I can't imagine it was very expensive, they had set it up buffet style, and it didn't seem like beer or wine was included, just soda, but I could be mistaken since I clearly wasn't involved in that aspect.

I'm doing mine at Villa Umberto's. They have a beautiful menu and the food is seriously delish. It's Italian! - We're doing a Rehearsal Lunch to save a little money - I bet they'll work within your budget. Give them a call and ya never know what you'll get back!

We check them out for our RD - we almost booked there. They offered us their price fix menu for $22.95 PP - no drinks though, and would put us in a seprate room. I thought the price wasn't bad - we're having it on a Thursday nite though.

i would say the Melting Pot. but its prob not cheap! its an awesome place if you've never been!! very romantic place to go for dinner with the FH

i had my grad party there...the room held approx 40 ppl, and i had beer wine and soda. in total i think i had 30 ppl and it cost about 900

What about Rosewood Inn on Rte 110? I dont know the prices pp. But i do see alot of times they have functions there. And their dinner menu isnt that much off the wall with prices.
FH and I trek out there once in a while for some good eats.

Also try Bulldog in Amityville. Same owners and they have a few different size rooms. Same menu I think.....

FMIL is pissing me off with being so vague on price, I might as well suggest Wendys and see what she says! I think she'd freak out since she is such a nut about food.

I've been to private parties at the Black Forest Brew Haus. They have the menus and prices on their website. Also, 56th Fight Group is there but I don't know how much they cost.
