Need honest Centerpiece Opinions...

What do you think if I bought these and the pillars and had a florist do a small floral thing on the bottom. Something that would total no more than $50 (for candle holder, candles and some sort of flowers).

I can get the tall calla CP's for 75 so it's a matter of figuring out whether I can get something even cheaper (near to impossible).

What do you think? (I'll say that the only issue I have with the tall calla CP is that there is no 'HIGH' candles...at the FT, the dance floor is raised and I really had wanted some candles up high).....TIA

I like them a lot. I think a cranberry colored flower or deep red would like really nice with the gold.

leese, I like those stands a lot!!! I think you can really make a wonderful centerpiece with that...The candles in our room will really accent the entire room! I am doing candles around my centerpieces!!

There is alot you can do with those puppies leese! You can even put some feathers on those bad boys.. I'm JUST KIDDING..... lol

Just a question: Are you totally against using silk floral? Cause we have some really gorgeous calla's.... or other floral for that matter. Just thinking.. I know I'm trying to stay away from silks.. but with the CP's being so much, I'm honestly starting to consider it. I think I've lost my mind...

Oh, are you doing short pillars or tall? Will they be white, ivory.. a color? (purple)????

That centerpiece is honestly not my style...but picturing all of those candles lit up, with the height factor...it would probably look very pretty. i'm just not a fan of gold.

I'm seriously considering it! I've been searching for gold for such a long time. If you haven't been to the FT, the ceiling has gold/bronze-ish ceilings. the chargers are gold too....so i want to match it up.

I'm really thinking about it. I love the tall callas soooooooo much, I just don't understand why it is soooooooo much money for 7 callas, some willow that i saw at michaels for like 10 bucks, and bear grass. i just don't understand. someone tell me.

I'm having serious floral issues and I am ready to throw it all in and say 'forget it'

Oh ok, it definitely makes sense to match your hall...with your description it seems these centerpieces will go perfectly! I'm realizing calas are quite expensive too - I guess we just have expensive taste...but maybe just have calas in your bouquet since that will be in so many photos, and keep roses or another basic flower in the centerpieces? That's what I'm doing because I have too many tables and it's just not worth it to me. I'd rather spend the money on something else...good luck, it will all work out and look beautiful:)

I think they are great! Leese, where did you find it? I am looking for something exactly like that but in silver. I think that putting a floral wreath around the base would look amazing. I say do it!

I think it is very elegant but its hard to tell what it will look like w/o the flowers.
