Need Honeymoon destination HELP!

Hi
Let me cut to the chase my wedding is 8/22/08 which is right in the middle of hurricane season in the carribean. Add to the fact that we only have a week for our HM and money is an issue, we're on a budget. Does anyone have any ideas I want to start booking things ASAP. TIA:

You might want to check out Aruba. From what i've found, its outside the huricane belt so it shouldn't be affected by huricanes. Also, it's one of the more affordable islands.

If you want, try to contact travel tom. He's raved about all over the boards and helped me get what I wanted in my budget. He's a definate to check out also. fm me if you need his info.

ditto on aruba. or maybe you want to check out someplace like bermuda which is not as far down south

I was also told that St. Lucia rarely gets hit by hurricanes

Our wedding is the same day, date twin :)

We're going to St. Kitts which is in the Caribbean but we plan to take out the travel insurance God forbid of a hurricane.

We have been to Aruba twice though, and highly recommend it :)
