Since Im getting married in September, Hurricane season is going to be in full bloom for the Caribbean. I need some ideas on 'safe' places to start looking at.

We are getting married in september as well so I had the same problem to deal with. We are going on a cruise in the south pacific. I really wanted to go to Bora Bora (but do not have 10,000+ to spend on a honeymoon...) so a cruise was perfect. We get to see like 6 different islands, it is 10 days long, and it is costing us around $6500. This includes airfare, food, and activities on the cruise. We cannot wait to go. You could also look into Mexico and Hawaii. If you do not necessarily need tropical you could also look into Alaska. My FH sister went there on her Honeymoon and said it was the trip of a lifetime. i believe Cancun is not in the path of hurricanes...plus its always hot and sunny and lots to do
