Need Honeymoon Help. . . Please

We are torn between Portugal and Spain for our honeymoon. Both would be fantastic and it ends up being which has more pro's than the other because neither seem to have any cons. SO, I need your help ladies!! If we go to Portugal we would stay at the incredible Praia Del Rey which is on the beach near Obidos (about 1 hr from Lisbon) it's kind of centrally located to all the historic/natural sites we would want to see and close enough to hang out in Lisbon as well. In Spain we would stay at the Byblos Andaluz in northern Malaga on the Costa del Sol. The hotel is stunning but not on the beach. although they do have a shuttle to the beach. From there we can explore the coast including Gibralter and take a ferry to Morrocco for the day or travel inland to see more rural towns. Cost is comprable. Flight to Lisbon is direct while flight to Malaga is connecting so a bit longer. What do you all think? Anyone been to either of these places and have first hand knowledge? We are going for 8 days/7 nights. Please help. . .

Never been to Portugal but my sis has. We both love love love Spain. I wanted to go to Morrocco so bad, but timing did not allow. I have friends who timeshare in Costa del Sol - Marbella and they absolutely love it.

FH is Portugese and has a house in Portugal. So I asked him what you should do. He of course loves Portugal. You can go down to the South Coast to the beaches. He said Obidos is beautiful. Sometimes hes does both, he goes to Portugal and stops in Spain. We are going July 07 and thats what we are planning. I hope this helps.

thanks for the help. . . i would love to do both but i would want to take more time for that and unfortunately i don't have the time now. . . anyone else?? the poll is a dead heat which is kind of how we feel about it ourselves. . .Geez louise. . who knew picking a honeymoon could be so difficult?!
