ok, i really can't figure this out, i need some good liwedding advice. how can something so small give me such a headache?
so i'm getting married on a thursday, without many OOT guests (maybe 20 or so)
my side of the family usually blocks rooms and stays overnight even though we all live on Long Island. I guess this is to keep drinking (big irish families) and to relax over breakfast together the next morning.
well, the Belmont Stakes are the week of my wedding so some of the nicer hotels, with the nicer breakfasts/restaurants are way too expensive. It also seems silly to block a cheaper hotel with a basic continental breakfast, since nobody would really want that.
should i just not block off rooms and make a plan to meet up at a restaurant for breakfast the next morning?
any weekday breakfast recommendations?
any advice in general? i've officially hit a roadblock.
you can block rooms at a 'cheaper' hotel and then have a little insert on the card saying 'breakfast at 'the erstaurant' at 9am'...something like that!
