NEED IDEA: CEREMONY @ HALL

Looking for ideas as far as decorating the area, it will more than likely be indoors (March 6th) day wedding (11:30am) in front of a fireplace......

Can you put pics of past fmaily members getting married on the fireplace.

Candles on top of the fireplace would look nice too.

WOuld the fireplace be on???

Because they also have these candle holders that you put in the fireplace that hold many candles.

I was married in front of a fireplace too... I put white pillar candles on the mantle in plain glass holders.

Then I rented from my florist 2 huge candleabras that were each on a faux granite pedastle. Those had 4 large taper candles each with ivy in the middle spilling over... it was very pretty. Those where by the 'alter' area.

Where you walk in there were two other pedastles with 1 large pillar candle on a stand with ivy trailing...

it was very pretty.

IDEA: We actually have two fireplaces in the hall....the one in the ballroom where we do the ceremony and the other one in the foyer entrance....we definitely want to do family wedding photos....
We are also using photos of our friends' that have gotten married
I love the 'I do' or 'We Do' letters and was thinking of propping them up on one of the mantels....what about that???

Because I painted them, but never used them, since i forgot about them downstairs.

If you want them you can have them.

At the HUntington, they have stands they can use down the aisles. They put some of the table centerpices on the stands, then when ceremony is done they bring them back to the tables. Alternate flowers with pew bows and it is really a nice effect. And cheaper than getting seperate ceremony flowers. Good luck!
