if you're looking for just a night trip, Freeport has 4 hour cruises to nowhere. I haven't done that in a while, but they are SO much fun!

What about Miami?
You could also do a weekend in the Hamptons or even do a spa, there are lots in upstate NY.

I have heard great things about Montreal. Also what about the vineyards in Suffolk? Martha's vineyard. The Borgata in AC is great.
