Sag harbor is a great walking town...(of course I am partial since I am FROM there)....you can eat at the new seafood place in the center of town (I am not sure of the name....'SOMETHING' & Eddies)..or if u r into japanese and sushi, try SEN...or just want bar food..the Corner bar is really good....but its really 'pubby'..or Walk Down BayStreet to The Dockside Restaurant..thye hav great food, you can sit on the patio, and the prices are really reasonable!! OR if you want Mexican...can get La Superica..then afterwards stroll down to long Wharf, look at the boats, sit on a bulkehad and look at the water....and go to Big Olaf and get an Ice cream in a Homemade waffle cone, or just watch them make them thru the window....there are a lot of cute shops on main Stree..or..I forgot, if you are in the mood for pizza or italian, eat at Conca-D'ora...its got good food...My fave is teh sicilian Ziti with peas...oooogh..or have Il Capuccino..but I am not sure if they have lunch..I do not think they do...but OMG their garlic rolls are to die for!!!! Let me know where you decide on going!

Re: Need Ideas about the Hamptons
ooooh..no clue!! I have never been to the Duck Walk...I do not know if they do wine tastings/tours anyways...but maybe they do...If you go to Bridgehampton there is really not much to see...if you go to Southampton they have a few shops, but thats about it...(to me anyways since I cannot afford anything from the shops!!) EastHampton is also a nice place to go...I love to walk into Tiffanys and Coach there!! But I love What Sag HArbor has to offer...the little shops and the LOng WHarf...You could always take a ride down by Mecox Rd. in Southampton and look at he huge houses...Have fun whatever u decide on doing!!!

Sorry, I don't know about a dress code for Duck Walk, but I will never forget how much I LOVED the Merlot...
I usually wear a sundress with a sweater for wineries, but I've never seen people asked to leave because of attire. Wineries cater to tourist, so anything is probably acceptable.

I say go all the way to Montauk! I love Montauk! You could walk around town, go to the docks, the lighthouse, the beach, and there are great places to eat...I'm vegetarian but my family says the Lobster Rolls, Ricks Crabby Cowboy Cafe and the Harborside Rest. are good. I like West Cove for Mexican and we had Italian at a place just off of town...not Gianni's...I forgot the name. It was good too.

Re: Need Ideas about the Hamptons
HI Girls! Well just wanted to say thanks for all the recommendations - especially to Holly! We went to Sag Harbor today and it was exactly what I was looking for. The day was a bit iffy - but the sun peeked in and out all day and the drizzling kept to a minimum. We walked all around town whcih was so cute and by the docks - I LOVE THOSE HUGE BOATS!!! I seriously want my own yacht now! We had a late lunch at Jeff & Eddy's - the good was really good! And Ice Cream at the Ice Cream Club - i think that was the name. So - then we ended up driving around looking at the houses and looking for the really affluent part of the Hamptons. Where are all those movie stars? We ended up driving all the way to Montauk! Gorgeous! - I love all the lookouts that they have on the way. We are definitely going to make it a trip to MOntauk before the summer is out. I just had a great day - THANKS again for the recs!!!

GREAT!! Glad you had such a nice time!~! It is definitely a fun placeto be and its beautiful down on the wharf by the boats and yachts! And you are right, Montauk is also a beautiful place to be!! When you do another day trip, definitely go down there...watch the fishing boats come in..you can even do a whale watching tour if you want! ( I cannot because it made me Sick!!!) Its so nice to be there in the Summer!! I love all that SUmmery stuff! check out Gosmans....etc..etc..etc ...As for the Movie Stars, they mroe than likely were lurking around...Jimmy Buffet is around Sag Harbor alot...Billy Joel is around alot...Christie Brinkley...Seinfelds...etc..etc...a lot of tims they can be spotted in E. Hampton...but P. Diddy lives in East Hampton too..as do a TON of toehrs that are slipping my mind right now! Well, so glad y0ou had fun in my hometown!!!
