Need ideas: alternatives for flower girl and ring bearers to hold
Hi Ladies,
I am looking for some alternative ideas for my flower girl and ring bearers:
1. Flower Girl: I haven't found a basket I am crazy about yet so looking for alternatives...either a different type of basket or something different for her to hold. I checked out the ball thingy (think they call it Kissing Ball?), but it was $60! Seems like a lot, esp since she won't be able to really keep for a couple of days or anything. Don't want to do fake flowers either.
2. I have four nephews and couldn't just pick one so they are all ring bearers! I would like them all to have something. Two will carry pillows (figured one 'ring' each), but need something for the other two. They are seven so they can handle almost anything. Only thing I can think of is blowing bubbles, but don't think that will execute well while they are walking. I picture A LOT of stopping mid-aisle!
Any unique or alternative ideas are welcome!

For your FG: You could have her carry down a single flower, the same type that is going to be in your BoK. I think that would look really sweet!!
For your other RBs: I know some bride's have the kids carry bells that they can ring to kind of 'announce' that the bride is on her way.

How about a small bo-k for the FG? Mine is carrying a small version of mine.

I'm having my Jr. Bridesmaid (she's 8) carry a flower ball. I originally wanted to have it done by my florist but it was going to be $70 and I said no way! I went to a craft store and got all silk roses and a foam ball and made one myself for only about $20 bucks!

i saw somewhere where someone who loved cats made a cat doll that held the rings for the ring bearer to carry instead of a pillow

your nephews could carry trays (low/wide basket) with the bubbles/ rice/ lavendar the guests will use when you leave.....
You can make a simple flowergirl basket from michaels... simple wicker easter basket dressed up with ribbon that complements the BM dresses...

They could carry bells and ring them as they walk down the aisle. My FSIL did this and it was adorable

My FG's had mini bo-k's that they held and I had two ring bearers carry the pillows and the oldest ring player had sunglasses on to be the 'security' for the rings. He loved it.
