Need Ideas For a Unique Place Card Arrangement

I’ve been brain storming for weeks now on a really unique and beautiful place card table item. I want something really out of the ordinary but nothing crazy I like things classy. I’ve tried looking through past post but have had no luck. So far the one I like the best is using the wedding cd’s that we made wrapping them up in a nice white high gloss paper with a nice ribbon to match the wedding color theme & placing the seating arrangement cards on top of them. My escort cards are in envelopes so the name of the guest will be on the cover & the table number in the inside of the card. So, it’s like our guest get a gift with their card. My own concern with this is that I think Jericho Terrace puts their place cards in the cocktail room & I don’t want people to leave their cd’s there. We spend a lot of time and money on them. PLEASE let me know what you think of this idea or please share your ideas with me. I want to be different. Thanks Girls

I am sure people will take there CD's with them. You can always ask someone to just look over the Ch room and see if any were left behind and collect them. It sounds like a cute idea.

I didn't want to have my guests carrying something around during the CH, so instead of escort cards, I plan on using a variety of large sized picture frames with the guest and table info printed and placed inside the frames. Guest info will be alphabetically. I'll make a grouping of them, along with some of my personal pictures on the table, scatter some fall leaves and votive candles thru-out the arrangement. Should look nice, and I can re-use the frames later.

I'd place the cd's at each place setting so guests won't forget them.

The frame idea is very different. I like the concept! Agree that favors should be at the table. With a drink in one hand and a plate in the other, it's easy for a CD to be left behind during cocktail hour!
