Need ideas for Father In Laws gift

I need some ideas for my father in law for Christmas. We are doing a grab bag and we have $50 to spend. I have no idea what to get him and everytime I ask him if he knows what he wants, he tells me he doesnt know.

A little about my father in law....He likes the Yankees, Golf, and Working on the house.

He wears a shirt and tie every day but he has enough dress clothes.

I know he wants a digital camera, but I doubt I can get one for $50

So if you can help me with some ideas that would be great.

What about a golf ball embosser with that little tool kit that has a metal tee, ball marker, digging tool, etc?

Thats interesting, but I dont think he would want it....He likes golf but he hasnt played in a while.

How about a gift cert. to a pro-shop so he could buy something or get a lesson or play a round. There is a HUGE golf store on Rt 25/Jericho Turnpike in Commack, between Deer Park Ave & Commack Road. Don't know the name but its on the north side.

Maybe a GC to Best Buy so he can put it towords the digital camera. Or a book about digital photography.

Duct tape in every color you can find?

Do a search on ebay for golf, you'd be surprised what's out there. Might give you more ideas.

Last year I got my MIL's BF a poster from his college and framed it (frame from Michaels w/ matting cost about $20). He loved it. Now its in their dining room.

I got my father in law a down vest from Lands End- he likes to work around the house too and sometimes wearing a full coat is too much.

another good gift is that digital rolling tape measure- I got it for my dad at Amazon.com for like $36 (supposed to be $60)

I think those things that make sure you are hanging a picture straight are cool--the ones that show a digital line or something?

I decided on what I am getting my father in law and I am going to go over the budgeted $50...He deserves it.

My friend who researches imaging for a living told me that this is a good entry level digital camera, and it has optical zoom which is rare on a under $100 digital camera. I have seen this digi cam in other stores way over $150 so I know this is a good deal. I also read all the reviews on e opinions, and it got a pretty good write up.
