NEED IDEAS FOR SUMMER BRIDAL SHOWER!!

Ok..so i plan to have my bridal shower outdoors. i have a huge beautiful backyard..i can do anything with it! i just dont know what !

i need help with picking a theme.. im pretty much open to any ideas.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

what are some things or color schemes you like.

I went to a bridal shower in a backyard. They rented tents and put the tables underneath there. Maybe do a garden type theme or a certain flower like daisy's.

Or do a luau type theme which would go

The garden theme is great! I did that for my sister. I made the centerpieces with little pails and her favorite flowers gerbia daisy. And I made her wishing well out of a big flower bucket. it came out really cute. I made chocolate lolli pops of flowers also. I have pics at home I'll post.

I also like the luau theme too. Or even a tea party theme.

i think a luau or a beach theme is a great idea as well

Call me crazy, but I'm all about a good old bbq. If you want to go light, turkey burgers, FF hot dogs, pasta salad with oil/vinegar (instead of mayo), and fruity frozen drinks

yeah a garden tea party would be a good idea. YOu can do finger sandwiches, lots of teas. Uhmmmm maybe also with a mad hatter theme too and women wear hats, ive seen this for a shower. Maybe kind of like a high society garden tea party but done in a fun way obviously

The Two themes I have loved the most so far are:

Sex and the City Themed: Served Cosmos, Everything about Handbags and shoes, Hot pick and Black decorations, You can name tables after designers.

the other one is Margarittaville: Obviously serving Margarittas, flip flops, beach key west feel to the decorations, you can serve cheeseburgers.

you could go very tea party and have small sweets and finger foods. Im doing that for my BF's shower next summer.

ETA: I saw you said you liked tea party idea from someone else. Think High tea in paris or London. Make petit fours, mini cheesecake tarts, have scones, cresants, etc. Make cucumber sandwhiches, and other little finger sandwhiches and maybe have some quiche.
colors should be soft. Maybe golds, mauve, greens. Have some simple flowers on the tables. You can keep it very simple and elegant!
