Need ideas ladies..

Ok.. so now that i've officially booked with pedastals and i have my theme set... i need some extra ideas...

This is what i've got so far..
Theme: 40's glamour/winter elegance

It's gonna be like a glamouros Ice storm.. at least that's how i like to see it..lmao.

For floral arrangements we chose a high CP with a full arrangement of ostritch feathers, blue dendrobium orchids, branches and some filler of course(probably hydrengia or something) to make it full with hanging chandelier crystals.....
The linens are gonna be like a white satin with a shimmery overlay ... i think it's called twinkle.. so it will really sparkle..
i'd also like to add some votives around the base of the CP...( i wish i had a picture ..but haven't been able to find anything really like it )

My colors are like and icy turquoise..david bridal calls it cornflower.. and impressions has the exact color i want too!!! with black...
boks are roses with the blue orchids ...wrapped in black ribbons with crystals.. and mine is a full arrangement of roses with crystals!!!

So now i need some ideas for place cards, holders, RB pillow and FG basket.. and all the extras.. shoes... cakes..all of it. I really want everything to have like shimmer/shine/sparkle.. but i don't want it to look like there is just glitter everywhere either.. more of a crystal look i guess.

So hit me with your best stuff ladies!!!

For shoes - I bought a pair of Capparos (SOOOOO comfy !) for my friend's wedding at DSW for about $40. They are silver and have like an X over the toe area and the toe part is covered in opage sequins. Definately sparkly but not cheesy glittery. I am going to wear them with my wedding dress.

place cards why not have white place cards and place a little crystal right above the name, soo pretty thats what were doing! ... and for the pillow why not look for the color pillow you want with the beads coming down the sides, I can picture it in my head but I can't seem to find a picture of it lol, alot of the shoes defiantly have sparkles! for the cake, have you seen the cakes that look like they have sugar ALL over it, it makes it sparkle a bit!

I have the same problem, i never come across stuff in my colors lol ... and your very welcome! i'm going to try and find the picture of the cake, I could of sworn its in the new cake thread someone just made, if I find it I'll bump it!

Are you doing somewhat of a crystal theme? Do you have a pic of the cystal chandaliers for your CP's, those sound very interesting. Do you also have a pic of the linens? Is Pedestals providing them?

yes pedestals is providing the linens... robert helped me pick out a great linen.. but then said there was a new one coming in called twinkle that was even more sparkly.. i dont have any pics.. but since its new he said he'll show me when they come in!!!!
I wish i did have a picture of the CP!!! We based it on a sample that was in thier showroom.. it had callas and hydrengia i think.. with branches.. on a tall glass vase.. it also had the feathers in it..! But he is of course gonna change it around a bit(no lillies..add the orchids.. etc) and add then add the hanging crystals!! I am soo excited.. i can't wait to see a sample! It just sounded so pretty and went perfectly with the linens.. really accented the theme i was going for!

when i did a google search i came up with one linen called twinkle.. it was like a pewter color with crystals on it that sparkled.. but im not sure if that is it!! It looked really pretty though.. he def. got that i wanted some shine.. my aunt said i have to live up to my name since it's krytal..lmaooo

Everything sounds amazing. So you wont be using your Rh's linens now that I think of it, I have to see what these linens look like, I had no clue that Ped. provided linens. My theme is white & cystals, I want to hang cystals on my CP's but where would they hang from, the top or bottom

What are hanging chandalier cystals??? I have to go back to Ped soon, lol

I was going to post the cake above, its very pretty and its looks twinkly, lol. I love this cake for its crystal design
