Need info on Avanti Tuxedo in Bethpage or S&S Tuxedo in Hicksville?
If you have any info on these tuxedo rental places, it would really help.
All this time I figured FH would use VIP but I did not realize all the bad reviews they received until I just searched them on here and checked out BBB and saw something bad on their report.
I tried to search Avanti in Bethpage on BBB but they are not listed at all and as far as S&S in Hicksville, they are a BBB member and have nothing against them.
I am intersted in hearing past brides reviews on these 2 places if they have used them.

I know SweetCin704 used S&S Tuxedo in Hicksville. This is from her review:

Ray had used them for his prom and for all his cousins’ weddings and they did not disappoint. They were helpful and spent time with us deciding on exact colors to match the girls’ dresses and DH’s shirt so it wouldn’t make my diamond white dress look less than perfect. They have a huge selection and FH ended up choosing a Joseph Abboud tuxedo, a designer not many shops carry for rentals.
All the tuxes fit the guys perfectly and showed up REALLY nice in the pictures. The shop has late hours on Thursday and is centrally located in Hicksville so it was easy to get to. They also allowed for any OOT guys to send in their measurements.

We are using S&S Tuxedo's so far our experience with them has been great they were very helpful. My brothers have used them for their proms, the most recent one being last year.
As for Avanti, the only thing I remember is one of my brothers went in there looking for his prom (quite a few years back) and the guy kept insisting the pants were just fine and not too short, my brother is 6'5 and when he sat down they were up to his knees. Again this was in '99 so things could have changed since then.

I'm going to S&S....my brother and my two best friends used them for their weddings and had no complaints. I'm not familiar with Avanti.

i wish i coulkd help ya out with that but i cant. but i think when the time comes we are gonna go to rogers cause i heard they are really reasonable

We used them:
Tuxedos – S&S Tuxedo in Hicksville – 10
This was another simple part of our planning process. When I went with my husband for the first time, we were in and out in maybe 20 minutes. They got out every vest in ivory they had so I could put my swatch up against it and helped me pick the one that matched best. We knew we wanted simple traditional tuxes so it wasn’t that complicated. The guys were asked to start picking up their tuxes up to three days before so they could get fitted, and all of their tuxes fit each of them well. When my husband complained that his vest looked dingy, they took out a brand new one and gave it to him, no problem. Again, all the guys looked great – especially the boys (ringbearers!
