Need Informatin on a Hawaiian Honeymoon

Hello Ladies. Like so many of you, my FI and want to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon, but don`t want to break the bank to do it. I saw some wonderful information in an earlier posting on Pleasant Hawaiin and now ask for any aditional information on planning a honeymoon in HI. Thanks!

Need Informatin on a Hawaiian Honeymoon (Long)

I have been doing some research on a Hawaii honeymoon also. I have not contacted Pleasant Hawaiian yet for their quote. I have contacted Hawaii Travel Bureau and have received a decent quote from them for $5306 for two. This includes: 1) airfare from JFK to Maui with a layover and then from the Big Island to JFK with a few layovers; 2) car rental(convertible) for the entire stay; 3) interflights between the islands; 4) 5 night stay at the Hyatt on Maui; 5) 5 night stay at a five star resort (can't remeber the name)on the Big Island. [The rate includes the 5th night free on the Big Island and free buffet breakfast during our stay on the Big Island.] I think this is a pretty reasonable quote in comparision to the prices I have gotten on-line but I think I can get a littel better. The car rental was almost $700, which I thought was too much. I hope this helps, and I'll let you know if I get any mre info. Good luck planning.
