we used 'good night' by the beatles....my dad used to sing that to me at bedtime when i was a kid....after the band played they're last song, they put it on the mp3 player. it was awesome! :)

We used 'Wonderful Tonight' by Eric Clapton is is such a sweet song.

It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,

We used 'Nevermind the Strangers' by the Sawdoctor, people loved it but we had a different kind of crowd who have actually heard of the sawdoctors. Buutt our second choice was going to be 'All You Need Is Love' by the Beatles, that probably would have been fun and little bit different too.

i want to say that by the time the last dance rolls around, many of your guests will have had a few drinks so they won't make the connection to another wedding!!
i think its important to do what YOU want, so if you have been thinking of that song, do it!

we are probably going to do dirty dancing, i've had the time of my life, because its my favorite movie of ALL time, and over ten years ago i told my best friend i want my future husband to sing it to me the way Patrick Swayze sang to Jennifer Grey in the film. I don't care if every person I know has that song, it has meaning to us, so do what makes you and FH happy!

We are using sweet caroline as our second to last dance because the song we want played last not many people will know (we are big music people and we want an off beat song for last)...so we chose sweet caroline to get everyone out on the floor and then our hopes is that everyone will stay out there. Even though no one will know the words to our last song, we still want it.

And honestly I would use your first choice despite it being the first song at a family wedding....who gives??? Make your own rules and screw anyone who thinks you stole it..LOL

I feel this is actually the route I'm leaning towards...my sister loves Daft Punk so I'm going to have to play that song anyways, and I like Michael Buble...but I'm sure fussy FH will veto this too!
