Need Last Dance Help

I need serious help with our last dance. It's the only song we have left that we don't really know what to pick.

It was going to be Buona Sera by Louis Prima, but we can no longer use it because it was used, oddly enough, as the first dance at a family wedding this year. Too many of the same guests will be there, and while I had the idea a long time, I'm not going to let myself look like I jacked it, even if I didn't. So new last dance song!

I was thinking possibly Sweet Caroline or Save the Last Dance for Me...but I'm not sure. I don't know if I want Last Dance (even though my mom's a former disco queen), or New York New York cuz that really doesn't make much sense for us, although it is still an old school crooner song. Any other suggestions??? I want to start putting together my DJ this this week. TIA!

We used 'Don't Stop Believin' and it was PERFECT!! EVERYONE danced and we all had an absolute blast!

We are using sweet caroline as our second to last dance because the song we want played last not many people will know (we are big music people and we want an off beat song for last)...so we chose sweet caroline to get everyone out on the floor and then our hopes is that everyone will stay out there. Even though no one will know the words to our last song, we still want it.

And honestly I would use your first choice despite it being the first song at a family wedding....who gives??? Make your own rules and screw anyone who thinks you stole it..LOL

We used Closing Time. Everybody was able to dance to it . . . even those that attended solo.

You know...this is already on our must play list, we love this song...I might have to run it by FH to see if he wants it to be the last dance song, since we're going to be playing it anyways!

We did time of your life as 2nd to last to make everyone think it was the last song...then one more time by Daft Punk as the last song to make everyone go crazy that the party wasn't just yet over....it didn't work too well bc the video guy needed a shot of everyone waving goodbye and they did it during that song....oh well!!

we're using Semi Sonic...Closing time b/c we have an after party at the hotel so we liked the line 'ain't gotta go home but you can't stay here' so we can pass on the word that this party is over but there's another just starting....lol
