Hi brides! Could you please recommend a spot for us to take photos on our wedding day? The wedding is at Vineyard Caterers in Aquebogue. Looking for a nice spot nearby to get some good shots. We'll also be taking photos at the Vineyard but I'd like to diversify lol TIA!

I don't know that area too well, but there's a cute miniature golf place on CR 105 near Tanger. It's called the Out East Family Fun Center. That could be a fun place to take pictures.
Also, I don't know if the aquarium would allow you to go in and take pics.

Although I'm not certain, Aquebogue should have some sort of beach area where you could take pictures.... maybe call the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce?

Photos on a mini golf course is such a good idea! Those would be so cute and fun!
I think, considering the aquarium also does weddings, they probably don't allow people to come in from the outside just for wedding photos. I should check on that!

There are beaches in the area where you can take pics...I think one is called Iron Pier. Also, there is the boardwalk back behind Main St. that goes behind the aquarium on the canal. If you want to go a little further east there are prob some nice photo ops on Main Rd (Rt 25) or Sound Ave. in front of the farms or vineyards like Martha Clara. I've been to 2 weddings at Vineyard Cateres and they were both awesome!! The grounds do make for great pics-- congrats!! hope that helps-

Thanks for the idea! I just checked out the Chamber's website. It seems there are a few beaches but I think parking permit might be a problem. I might call the Vineyard and see what they suggest. Thank you for the suggestion!

PS- not sure where you are staying the night of...but friends of mine stayed at the Jedediah Hawkins House and they had some really nice photos from inside and the outside grounds there...

Thank you so much for all your suggestions in the post above! Also, the Jedediah Hawkins Inn looks BEAUTIFUL and I've actually seen photos of a Vineyard bride there! I'm already booked at the Best Western but maybe I'll look in to it!

there arn't many places out here... the two major photo locations are vineyards and beaches and you will already have some pics in a vineyard lol
you shouldn't need a permit between labor day and memorial day
