Please give me cute ideas - nothing that will just sit & collect dust. I decided not to do wine because I am doing a lot of other little stuff & it all comes to too much money. Here are some details so far:
1) Votive place card holders 2) round mint tins (personalized) that will be on the tables for guests 3) Cake boxes will be available for my guests to take home goodies (candy, pastries, cookies, etc.) from the viennese hour
None of those are really a favor though. The one thing I have in mind - will come to $560 for ordering, shipping, and personalization tags...am I nuts?

What about coasters, Kell? I think those are really useful favors. Everyone can use them.

Like you, my FH and I are doing a bunch of little extras so we're going to give bottle stoppers and wine charms. we were thinking abut bottles of wine also but it was just too much $$.

What do you think about little bottles of wine instead of regular size so you don't go crazy spending? There's a pic in my album of ours...we used those as our place cards since we made a donation and didn't want guests to go home empty handed.

How about a Donation? I'm not a big favor fan...no matter how cute or original the idea may be, it usually is just a dust collector. We're doing a donation, but like Hollie, we're using white favor boxes and putting the note and candy inside. We're also douing votive p/c so guests will have those to take home.

my friend gave out godiva chocolates - i do not know how much they were but they were very nicely packaged

You know, i've never been a fan of the coasters (SORRY!! JMO so please don't flame me!). I just like coasters I buy on my own because it goes with my decor
donation, chocolate, coffee or tea are all good and small favors. how much do you want to spend per favor?
