Need Make-up advice:Sada, Lynda Lane, Kiki< anyone else that is affordable?
I'm in Chicago and I'm trying to figure out if a trial is really needed. I won't be in NYC again until about April, but I'm scared to I'm scared that if I wait any longer to book a make-up artist that one of them might get booked (like Oksana, Jackie, etc).narrowed it down to 3 people: Lynda Lane, Sada, and Kiki..
SADA
The issue is that I love the way Sada makeup looks on the site, but she would be too expensive for my BM and mother to use. And she's a little bit more expensive than what I wanted to spend.
http://www.beautifulbrides.homestead.com/
$150 for bridal makeup, $100 each for BM makeup, and $100 for bridal makeup. Her trials are free for bride if you book her. I have to buy my own false eyelashes, but she would apply them. So that's about $300 for makeup and hair.
LYNDA LANE
Lynda Lane(is putting up a site). Her prices are $60 for bridal and $40 for everyone else. She charges $45/hr for trial and she says it typically takes 2 hours (she tries 4 different looks). She does airbrushing for makeup.
Advantage is that she is affordable if BM wants to use them. Disadvantage is that if I do a trial with her, then I'm at about $145 which is about the same price that I would pay for SADA. Lynda Lane would charge me $160 for hair and makeup. So that's about $250 for makeup and hair for me.
Kiki:
Her trial is $50 and her bridal makeup is $85-$100. And she charges
$50 for BM and $45 for moms. If all my BM and mom wants to use her, she would only charge $300.

I'm not sure if I want them to style my hair so I may only do makeup.
Any suggestions on what to do? Can anyone offer any advice about any of these vendors?
