Need Mini Vacation Help

I NEED to get away for a few days...FH says 'Why do you feel you always need to go away?' Well, let's keep in mind 'dear' that I have not been off from work or away since Thanksgiving, which was to SC to visit my dad (not vacation to me) and before that was to Ft. Lauderdale w/ FH in Sept. Work has become quite stressful (ps, did I tell you I've been here since 8am and they asked me to stay until 6pm! Hello? It's Friday), and I want to just take a day or two off, take a long weekend and get away, w/ FH.

He has vacation June 19-27 and I was thinking of going away Friday June 24 to June 27, but not sure where to go that won't cost an arm and a leg...that's FH's BIGGEST complaint about traveling.

Any ideas?!?! I have considered the Jersey Shore, but I have never been there. I'd prefer not having to fly (as to save $), so somewhere we could drive would be great!

The Jersey shore is nice. I've been to Wildwood, they have a boardwalk and a ton of hotels, so you probably wouldn't have to spend a lot. Cape May its the cutest town, you can walk around the shopping area and the Victorian B&B's. THey have those bike carts that are fun. You could stop in AC on your way home and spend a day there.

What about the Poconos? Ive never been, but people talk about it.

ETA: You should look on Expedia and see what kind of weekend things they have.
