Need More Hours in the Day!

I am getting married in a little over 8 months and I have nothing done!!! All we have booked is the venue, which I know is a big part of it, but still....lol

I need the holidays to come and go so I can focus on getting stuff done!! I never thought I would feel that way, but the holidays are slowing me down lol

Is that wrong?

At first I was like wow! But then I see you got engaged at the end of October. Definitely start ASAP!! Get the main things out of the way: music, photo/video...it will all fall in place once you begin

You need to start ASAP!! I have 10 months left until my wedding and I have mostly everything booked. You don't want to wait until the last minute and then your favorite vendors are booked already!

the holidays are going in my way too lol I understand! u should try emailing places this way u can narrow down where u have ti go suffer the holidays! maybe even make some appointments now!

Some vendors I met with a year out looked at me like i was nuts. You definitely have time, but summer months are a little busier than March for sure. Just blink and the holidays will be over! haha. it might be a good time to narrow down who you'd like to meet with after the holidays and try to set up some appts. That took some time for us. Thanks, ladies. I had to vent last night lol. Originally, we were looking at the end of November 2014. But, the Venetian gave us a great deal for a Saturday night summer wedding....so we bumped it up.

I have been doing a lot of research online/over the phone to try and narrow places down. But, when I see how much others have done, I get a little stressed!

You'll get there! All you can do is tackle one thing at a time. I remember when it seemed like the big stuff would never get done. Realistically, because we did a lot of research we booked with most vendors we met with since we were already in the right price range etc. We only met with 3 photogs, one florist, one videographer, one makeup artist and so on. It will get done!

I totally get you on that! I am eagerly awaiting the holidays to be over and for tax return season to hit! I will be paying off 60% of the wedding with our tax returns so it needs to come quick! We have a little under 9 months to go..and even though it seems far now I know it will come so quick!
