Hes having such a rough time. I feel so helpless. Hes STILL in the hospital its beeen 31/2 weeks!!!!.. the surgery didnt work.... they said that it was a possibility that this could happen And now hes developed a virus and that is sucking the energy and nutrients out of him. So they have him hooked to IV and food so he can gain the vitamins he lost...
We all went to visit him on Sunday.. He looks so pale and so sad!!! I wish there was something I could do! I am going to have my kids make him an alphabet book to cheer him up.
Thanks for the all the fms and prayers. keep the prayers coming. hes going to need them!

thanks everyone!! im actually posting from work...i know..addicting. My nephew was born with a lot of issues with his bladder and GI tract.. its very complicated to explain. He almost didnt make it when he was first born but hes a fighter and thnkas to his doctor, he made it. What he has happens to 1 in every 300,000 births so many drs dont know how to handle him. The dr. informed my sister and the babys father that he has a tough road with several surgeries ahead for him. The surgery unfortunately didnt work and he developed an infectionor they did something to trigger something else in his body.. so now they are fighting two battles. The dr, who knows his history is very famous in his areas of study and travels the US performing surgeries... he is CA as we speak. So its frustrating for my sister and us because when something does go wrong, no dr could help because they dont know the case. He is not a normal child, physically and many drs have never seen a case like this before....anyway thats whats going on with him. Thanks for the prayers and warm thoughts. HE definately is a cutie- i had t post the pics- proud aunt I am...

And I believe the Make a Wish foundation is for kids who are terminally ill!!! He is not in that position (as far as I know)!!! thank goodness!!! iappreciate the nice gesture but I cant even begin to THINK like that...
