It's been a long time since DH and I have had nothing to do on a Friday night. We'd like to stay home and buy/rent a movie. However we have no clue what's good since we haven't been to the movies or read any reviews in ages.
I'm telling you... fav movie in awhile has been 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose'. It's NOT a horror movie, like you would think. It's more along the lines of Primal Fear (most of it takes place in a court room)... it's based on a true story, and they want to make the girl it's based on a SAINT. It really makes you think... in a GOOD way. GREAT movie. NOT SCARY.

That was the last movie we saw in a theatre - we are really into renting movies, but it depends on what you're in the mood for (comedy/romance/action... )

My favorite movie of all time is Cinema Paradiso..it is an old classic italian movie with sub-titles... I am not one for sub-titles and believe me after 10 minutes, you don't even realize you are reading.
It is really a beautiful story.

I second 40 Year-Old Virgin. That was a hilarious movie. If you're up for something more serious, The Constant Gardener is worth seeing.

I agree! WEDDING CRASHERS! FH and I watched it 4 times within the first 2 weeks we bought it!!!
